Experience Matters

I began playing tennis in 8th grade, went on to play number one singles at Alexander Ramsey, and then continued playing both one singles and one doubles at Winona State University. After college pursued sales and marketing, with US Swim and Fitness, and then White Bear Raq and Swim. In May of 2000, took a break from the corporate world, for the summer months, and decided I would teach tennis and golf , and then go back to the sales in the fall.As it turned out, 25 years later, still living the dream and am able to continue to teach this fabulous game of tennis. In 2015 Dellwood Country Club hired me as Tennis Director. I feel so fortunate to be able to do something that I love so deeply, no matter the age or the skill level, child or adult it is such a rewarding experience for me.

Expectations & Goals

Every player is unique!

I recognize this fact.  We can hit tennis balls around for fun and just have good time.  However, most people have expectations and goals for lessons.  I will make every reasonable attempt to learn what your expectations are for our valuable time on the court. I welcome an early discussion about this and hope to continue evaluating expectations.

Goals are Great!

People play tennis and take lessons for many reasons.  Some of them are; exercise, learn a new sport, see if you like the sport, become better, make a certain team, play at a certain level, and many more.  What are your goals?  I want to know them.  The better I understand them the more likely you will enjoy your experience.  Please tell me your goals.
